The iOS app
Signing in
Schedule Wrangler accounts are created by your school's administrator. There is no self sign-up in the app. Sign in with the email and password your school set up for you. If you cannot sign in, ask your school's administrator, or contact us.
Pairing a classroom kiosk
- On the device that will be the kiosk, open the app and tap Pair this device on the sign-in screen.
- On another device, an administrator opens Classrooms, chooses the classroom, and taps Pair a new device (or Pair another device if the classroom already has one). This shows a QR code and a 6-character code.
- On the kiosk, scan the QR code, or choose Enter code and type the 6 characters.
The camera is used only to scan the pairing QR code. The kiosk then asks to allow notifications so it can show schedule changes for its classroom.
Unpairing a kiosk
A paired kiosk has no sign-out on the device itself. To unpair it, an administrator opens Classrooms, chooses the classroom, taps the device under Devices, and taps Unpair. If you cannot do this, email us at [email protected] and we will unpair it for you.
Privacy settings in the app
An administrator can turn the Assistant (AI) and usage analytics on or off at any time: tap the ... menu at the top right, then Privacy. These choices apply to the whole school, on every device and on the web, where they are under Profile, then Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for what each one shares.
Reporting a problem
Email us or use the contact form. You can also choose Report a Problem from the app's menu, whether or not the Assistant is on. It attaches a screenshot of the current screen, and you can review the report before you send it.
Deleting your data
To request deletion of your data, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. Because accounts are set up by your school, we may confirm the request with your school's administrator. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
